Mahsa Ahmadi, RAc, C.SMA
Since my youth, I’ve been enchanted by travel and what we can learn from cultures other than our own. I was fortunate enough to see much of the world with my family and, as a result of those journeys and the ones that followed, I developed wide-ranging interests that drive me to this day.
Along the way I became fascinated by the benefits of natural health and discovered my true passion: an alternative practice known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I completed a five-year TCM doctorate diploma program in Vancouver and became a registered acupuncturist in 2008 with the College traditional Chinese medicine and Acupuncturists of BC (CTCMA), beginning my practice as an acupuncturist.
I subsequently completed extensive training and certification in the advanced program of Sports Medicine Acupuncture® (SMA) in Boston in 2013, becoming Vancouver's first Registered & Certified Sports Acupuncturist. This enables me as an acupuncturist to use orthopedic assessment, to help treat and prevent musculoskeletal injuries due to work and sports injuries, postural and muscle imbalances, and more. I have extensive experience in clinical practice for the treatment and management of mild-to-advance cases of pain and injuries due to cancer, pre- and post-surgery rehab, major structural problems, stress, etc. I am also certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture as well as Facial Rejuvenation Massage/Acupressure.
While my recent years in practice have been geared toward the treatment of acute or chronic complicated cases, ultimately my practice is dedicated to improve the lives of all my patients. I take great pride in listening to my patients’ concerns and providing them with the support necessary to help them achieve their goals.

Perry Lea is a bio-energetic deep tissue massage practitioner combining integrative healing modalities such as deep tissue massage, body talk, bio-energetic massage, and myofascial active release techniques. He has been working in a variety of clinic settings in Vancouver and Whistler since 2002. Available exclusively with Perry Lea, at WellPoint Acupuncture clinic, a bio-energetic massage is a unique technique that helps you release stress and emotional memories that are kept in your body, in your muscles and in your neuro system. These negative pent up stored emotions need to be released or they form tension points, in different parts of your body and block your energy flow. This blocked energy then translates into pain, stress, anxiety and other emotional disorders, which can become more serious diseases. Clients have remarked on the restorative and balanced results that they have achieved and the spiritual and physical connection through a blend of bio energetic therapy and deep tissue body work.
Get in touch to book with Perry via email Balance_within@hotmail.com to make your appointment available on Fridays and Saturdays here at WellPoint Acupuncture.
